review: coffinwood

For over two decades, Tony Monton and Tom Van Tassel have been creating the infamous Santa Clarita haunt: Coffinwood. This festive yard display contains a decaying cemetery, inebriated skeletons, animatronic life-size dolls, and tons of other beautifully creepy sets and undead inhabitants. Coffinwood is one of the best Halloween yard displays thanks to Tony and Tom’s years of hard work and dedication.

While Coffinwood is usually an intimate walk-through, the yard and garage trails are closed this year to ensure the safety of visiting Halloween enthusiasts. Therefore, the sets are slightly scaled down (the crypt by the garage wasn’t present this year), but there is still a vast array of delightfully macabre sets and ghoulish characters to feast your eyes on. (Visitors can admire the displays from the driveway of the home.)

We love visiting this haunt and being entertained by the antics of the resident mischievous characters. Coffinwood is always a greatly enjoyable experience, and it’s suitable for all ages!
