Review: Rizo Scarehouse at ScareLA

Rizo Scarehouse, like Jordan’s high Desert Haunt, is extremely original both in plot and character development with each having an identity that is both creative and memorable. Their misfit cast of intense scare actors made their way from Rialto for this years pop up at ScareLA- frightening those brave enough to enter their horrific maze. The screams consistently coming from their Scarehouse proved to anyone surrounding it that they know how to do a maze right.

Rizo’s uses a combination of chaos, intense suspense, tenebrous passageways, and stark environments to create one of the most relentless and brutal haunts every season. At times you will feel completely surrounded and confused by the energy and acrobatics of the characters and their sudden loud, startling sounds. However, there are also moments of disturbing silence used by certain characters to create as much a form of intimidation as a scream.

Rizo Scarehouse has not secured a venue for this upcoming haunt season. It’s therefore a good idea to check in on their Instagram @rizoscarehouse in order to know where they will be located this Halloween. Rizo’s is a mandatory visit on any haunt list, and we promise you that you will be extremely impressed by what they have to offer.
