review: TOLUCA LAKE PUMPKIN PATCH

For a better part of the last decade we have been attending the maze at the Toluca Lake Pumpkin Patch. Located in the back of an amazing, classic roadside patch you will see incredible hand painted signs, including the Grateful Dead and Rat Fink, that overlook hundreds of pumpkins. 

The maze itself is filled with vintage frights and monsters - some of which are animatronic. The maze, while short, is unique in that instead of utilizing scare actors it focuses on creating an incredible ambiance. The dusty caskets, bales of hay, and lurking fiends make it truly feel like you are trapped inside of a 1980’s horror film.
