REVIEW: The Farm Home Haunt
Every Halloween for the past few years it’s been a tradition of ours to visit the complete madness of The Farm Home Haunt. This maze/display was housed within the space of a driveway but somehow created an expansive world set in the Old West, complete with animatronics, gutted humans, and mischievous characters. This gruesome and darkly humorous haunt was located in Glendale, however this year the family has relocated to the Santa Clarita Valley.
While this year The Farm Home Haunt is only a display, it still contains the trademark elements which tell the tale of Diablo’s Caskets and Curiosities. Bathed in signature red and green lights, you will see harmonica-playing skeletons dressed in overalls, strange caskets, and a plethora of jack-o’-lanterns. While you are admiring the display you can see a skeleton peering out at a bat skeleton hanging from the shop’s window.
While we miss the devilish chaos of The Farm Home Haunt's Halloween maze, we are more than happy to enjoy their intricate yard display. We highly advise everyone to go and feast their eyes with this marvelous yard display and incorporate it into a weekend of visits to SCV haunts.
