REVIEW: Pumpkin Jack’s Haunted House

Pumpkin Jack's Haunted House is notoriously mysterious. Their location and showtimes have always been difficult to figure out and every year we have missed their maze due to its elusive nature. This year, however, luck was on our side and we were able to attend their maze tribute to Stranger Things.   The maze went through what we believe was a garage attachment to an otherwise normal suburban house. Inside the house you will venture through various scenes from Stranger Things including Joyce Byers’ living room which includes a very elaborate representation of The Upside Down. This maze is both chaotic and exhilarating.

What we really loved about Pumpkin Jack’s was that they went off script and included attacking demons and a man with a chainsaw. This irreverent take on the representation of a known narrative felt liberating and surprising, which was really enjoyable.

Pumpkin Jack’s was a great addition to our Santa Clarita haunt run. The haunt characters, guests, and random people hanging about were all having fun and really enjoying the Halloween spirit. This festive environment even included a young magician doing tricks for people as they waited in line. We love Pumpkin Jack’s Haunted House!
