REVIEW: Perdition Home Haunt

The last time we visited Perdition Home Haunt they had built a maze around an enormous shipwrecked spacecraft which contained astronauts who wandered about the halls. This maze was extremely unique and a very special experience which we haven’t found anywhere else.

Earlier this year they decided they were going to go big again and the results are truly captivating.Their 2018 maze is built in a front yard from which you enter into a home where you witness various infamous murder scenes. The sights are grisly and filled with body parts, blood, and weapons.

The Perdition Home Haunt family put a lot of work into an experience which recreates gruesome pieces of history in both a realistic and artistic fashion. The atmosphere of the murder scenes is genuinely creepy as you stare at the sights and hear an ominous soundtrack which vibrates through the walls and floorboards. The feelings this house conjures are similar to what one may experience in the Museum of Death - a morbid curiosity mixed with a fascination for the macabre encompassed by a deep feeling of dread and horror.

Like Rob Zombie’s Haunt Of 1,000 Corpses, Perdition Home Haunt isn’t for the faint of heart. We would even argue that this maze is scarier than anything Rob Zombie can create.
