REVIEW: Macdevitt Manor
While running through a night of multiple haunts in the Inland Empire, we ended up on our first trip to West Covina’s Macdevitt Manor. This impressive haunt was created by Feartek.com, a custom prop house. The exterior of this haunt resembled a ghostly Victorian mansion, however inside we found a colorful world in which elements of horror and sci-fi merged together.
The unusual nature of Macdevitt Manor greatly captivated our interest. Throughout our journey within this haunt we met various characters who crawled towards us, making snarling noises, as we attempted to make our way through the maze. There were many disorienting turns (achieved by darkness and oddly laid out walls) which eventually brought us to a room in which dwelled a horrifying, giant spider illuminated by numerous green, glowing eggs.
Macdevitt Manor offers a strange journey filled with surprises around every corner. We recommend this haunted maze for anyone who is looking for a twisted turn on traditional haunts in the Inland Empire.
