REVIEW: Little Pearl Haunt

Atwater Village is a quiet and small neighborhood with many interesting stories. G-Son studios was established in 1991 by the Beastie Boys, and Beck released some of his earliest material through Bong Load Records. The Victory Memorial Viaduct (now the Glendale-Hyperion Bridge) has been reproduced (on a smaller scale) in Disney California Adventure and can also be seen in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. There are also many fascinating people who live in this cozy neighborhood, like the Atwater Bird Man who feeds the diverse group of feathered friends who flock to the Glendale Narrows. Adding to this list of Atwater interests is “Little Pearl Haunt” - a breathtaking Halloween yard display located off of Glendale Blvd.

Little Pearl Haunt is a beautiful yard display filled with spooky sights like tombstones, skeletons, gargoyles, black cats, and netted spiderwebs. The numerous jack-o’-lanterns enhance the supernatural lighting effects as blood orange shadows enshroud this Craftsman home. On Halloween there is a special treat for visitors as Little Pearl’s driveway will be populated by zombies enshrouded in thick blankets of fog, creating the perfect opportunity to immortalize your Halloween costume through frightful photo ops.

Little Pearl Haunt (3432 Perlita Avenue) is an exquisite yard display which truly celebrates the spirit of Halloween. Be on the lookout for the two large topiary pumpkins which mark the entrance to this ghoulish visual feast.
