REVIEW: Jordan’s High Desert Haunt at ScareLA
Jordan’s High Desert Haunt has been a favorite of ours for years. Jordan, the owner of High Desert Haunt, has been carefully crafting and expanding his haunt over time by utilizing found objects from his Apple Valley hilltop desert property. Jordan’s High Desert Haunt is consistently unhinged and unpredictable. The chaos that Jordan and his cast of fiendish characters harness is equivalent to the most insane punk show you’ve ever been to. You never know what’s going to happen - you might be thrown into a random area or attacked from behind by a giant man with a chainsaw. You might even run into Dr. Frankenstein and his monster (played by a one-armed man). Jordan’s pop-up maze at ScareLa was more confined than their regular haunt, however that did not diminish any of the trademark energy and terror unleashed by their ghoulish and frenzied characters.
The 2018 dates for Jordan’s High Desert Haunt dates have not been officially announced yet, so keep an eye out for their upcoming Halloween schedule. We highly recommend their extremely intense 18+ night that always makes the drive out to Apple Valley very worthwhile.
